Overview
Bookkeeper with Management Accountant responsibilities needed for a practice in Maidstone Your new company Hays are working with a Maidstone based Chartered Accounting Firm to help them recruit for a new Practice Bookkeeper. Working hours for this role are; Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm with an hour for lunch. Salary is dependent on experience. Your focus is; Bookkeeping to Trial Balance for a variety of small to medium size clients, including processing VAT Returns (majority quarterly). Your new role We are looking for a Bookkeeper who has a strong all-round understanding of the following aspects of Bookkeeping; Purchase Ledger Sales Ledger Credit Control Bank Reconciliation Bacs runs Processing VAT returns (majority quarterly) What you'll need to succeed Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential Prior experience working within practice would be beneficial Proven experience of Bookkeeping to trial balance What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
