Overview
Software Developer - C#, SQL, ASP.Net, MVC, Web Services - Option to be Crewe or Manchester City Centre based - Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience plus benefits including flexible working hours, pension scheme, high street & cinema discounts, life assurance, 25 days holidays plus bank holidays plus 1 day extra every year This business has recently expanded globally and have further ambitious plans for 2020. As the Software Developer (Web Services, C#, ASP.Net, MVC, JavaScript) you will have a integral role involving a wide range of work from enhancing current systems to helping to re-write systems as the company moves towards a cloud-based architecture. This role will be suited to someone who enjoys problem solving and has the ability to think outside the box. More than anything it will be essential for you to be able to work proactively in a team environment and actively participate in scrums, identifying where improvements can be made. It will also be important for you to implement good code practices and suggest code improvements. I have listed an overview of the key skills they require below - if you aren't ticking every single box don't worry as it is more important that you have the willingness to learn: Web services - REST, SOAP C#, ASP.NET, MVC Relational databases - SQL ORMs - Entity framework and/or Dapper. JavaScript (inclusive of frameworks / libraries jQuery, Knockout). Unit Testing If you have any experience in the following this will be a big bonus: Working within an agile environment. Experience working with large volume transactional databases. Experience of .NET Core. Cloud based development (AWS, Azure).
