Children's Residential Support Workers Urgently Required Hi-Flyers Recruitment are currently looking for Support Workers to be based in Chorley and surrounding areas. We are looking for enthusiastic Children’s Support Workers with previous experience in a similar position. You will be working with Children and Young People with Learning Disabilities and Emotional Behaviour Disorder (EBD). As their Support worker, you will support the children with their daily living tasks and encourage them to learn and encourage them to do things they love. You will work as part of a team to promote a warm, caring, safe and enjoyable environment. You will support the Children in other environments outside the home as required such as at school and during health appointments. Previous experience of working with Children with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioural difficulties in a similar setting is preferred. You will be enthusiastic and passionate with the ability to make a positive difference to Children and Young People's lives. What qualifications & experience are required to be a Support Worker? Previous health care experience Driving license preferred Reliability and commitment Excellent communication skills including verbal and written English Proof of your right to live and work in the UK Candidates will be required to hold an enhanced DBS disclosure We offer: Market leading rates of pay, from £10ph in the day Full training for the role plus additional condition related training to enhance knowledge and confidence.
