Overview
HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT / SUPPORT WORKER - Community - Southend, Essex area. Overview: A HCA/ Support Worker is required for Home Care in the Community in the Southend, Essex Area. As a Fully Qualified Healthcare Assistant/ Support Worker, you will be working on a Rota Basis, as a home care Health Care Assistant in the Community. Our Client is part of a larger Independent Group, and have a Community setting, which they have a requirement for fully qualified Staff. The Role: As Healthcare Assistant/ Support Worker, the successful Candidate will report directly to the Home Care Manager and work as part of the Home Care Team, delivering personal care and assisting with daily living tasks. The successful Candidate will be expected to work to the basic principles of putting people first and the person-centred approach to care. Undertake Support roles which might normally be performed by a caring relative, or close friend, allowing the Service User to make a positive choice to remain in their own homes for as long as possible, and to foster maximum independence. Provide Care and Support for the Service User(s) and their families who are living in the Community. The Person: A Fully Qualified Healthcare Assistant/ Support Worker (Domiciliary) Home Carer. The suitable Candidate, should ideally drive, and have their own transport, due to the nature of the role. Working 5 days per week, on a rolling rota basis. Hours: Weekdays: 5:30 - 10 pm Weekends: Morning 7am - 1pm / 4:30pm - 10pm. Suitable Candidates can Apply by sending over their updated CV, and Contact Details.
