Overview
Due to a period of growth and expansion, Spire Harpenden Hospital have an exciting opportunity for 3 Housekeeper/Domestic Assistants to join our wonderful team on a full-time and permanent basis. You will be working as part of the team responsible for the cleanliness of the hospital on a daily basis. This will include wards, reception areas, offices and outpatient clinics and will also include the changeover of rooms such as bed linen. We have 2 shift patterns available where you can choose from either 7am to 3pm or 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday. Due to the location of the Hospital – candidates must ensure they are able to travel for shifts at these times Spire Harpenden Hospital offers a comprehensive range of private hospital services. Our dedicated hospital team are passionate about excellent patient care and we offer a range of specialist treatments to patients across Hertfordshire. Duties and responsibilities The Hospital covers a wide variety of procedures, as a Housekeeper, you must ensure you maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital in line with the housekeeping and infection control policy. The successful candidate will work in close liaison with our clinical staff, understanding the special needs of the hospital on a day to day basis and always ensuring our Hospital is immaculate. Quality assurance and patient confidentiality must always be maintained, you will be pivotal in ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety at Work regulations including COSHH Who we're looking for Ideally you will be an experienced Housekeeper from either a Healthcare or Domestic cleaning background with demonstrable experience in a customer facing environment/role.
