MALE CARE ASSISTANTS BOURNEMOUTH AND POOLE AREAS 36 OR 42 HOUR PERMANENT CONTRACTS DAYS OR NIGHT SHIFTS AVAILABLE 8AM TO 8PM OR 8PM TO 8AM £19,000 TO £22,275 PER ANNUM Our client based in Bournemouth and Poole, are very progressive organisation providing people with Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Complex Care, daily support and care. Currently we wish to recruit experienced Male Support Workers or Male Care Assistants to provide an individual 24/7 care and support. You must have Care Assistant or Support Worker experience. The Service Users enjoy going out every day to engage in active activities such as long walks, swimming, trampolining, using his scooter, sensory activities, watching DVD’s, using a swing, cooking etc. Ideal applicant for the Male Care Assistants role should have some Care Assistant or Support Worker experience, with either Learning Disabilities or Mental Health or Dementia or Challenging Behaviour experience. The service users needs applicants to give them confidence, patience, understanding and reassuring him when they are anxious. Also you must be motivated to support the service users to access their preferred activities while making sure they and others are safe.
