Gas and Chemical Technicians
Overview
Gas and Chemical Technicians needed, to work on contract, within one of the world's premier semiconductor manufacturing sites near Dublin Ireland. Training provided with long term career prospects. This is an opportunity to join a company who are the best in their class for the provision of chemicals and gasses for the production of semiconductors. Full training will e provided for this role and would suite people from the trades, chemical or process industry who are hands on in their current roles. All successful technicians will be provided full training and once signed off be responsible for the safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems, with duties including: Handling and change-out of gas and chemical containers Gas and chemical equipment troubleshooting and preventative/repair maintenance Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs Support of quality systems Managing inventories of gases and chemicals Primary communication point to customer Qualification and Experience High school diploma, technical degrees or relevant technical training Proven ability to work safely in industrial environments Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and hands-on electrical/electronic experience Proficient in using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Excellent communication skills and strong technical writing skills Experience with chemicals, hazardous gases, and gas analysis, is a big ask but would be a great advantage Must be a strong team player and able to work either days or 12-hour rotating Day & Night Shifts. Ref:- D&M-250979 Role:- Gas / Chemical / Megasys Technician Type:- Contract Rate:- Starting rate of €20.44 per hour plus 30% shift allowance, raising to €22.48 30% shift allowance after training is completed. Shifts:- 7am to 7pm & 7pm to 7am 3 days on, 4 days off & 4 days on 3 days off rotation.
