Management accountant Assistant Management Accountant Retail Assistant Part qualified Management Accountant job based in Oldham - ACCA/CIMA Your new company A retail business is looking for a part qualified Assistant Accountant to join their head office. Sitting in a small finance team reporting directly to the Finance Director of the business, this is a fantastic opportunity for a an individual who is looking to really excel their career and take it to the next step. Your new role Reporting to the qualified Finance Director, you will be responsible for all month end processes including accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and stock reporting. international entity and UK based . You will also support the FD by giving commentary for variances against budget, as well as assisting with the preparation of management accounts and improving existing processes within the finance team. As you settle into the role and prove your capabilities, you will be given the chance to take on more responsibilities in line with the preparation of the accounts. What you'll need to succeed You will ideally have graduated with a finance based degree and be studying towards the ACCA/CIMA qualification. You will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a role where you have been involved in month end processes and assisted with the preparation of accounts. Ideally you will currently be working within the retail industry and be passionate about building a career within this space. You will be working under the guidance of a qualified and incredibly knowledgeable Finance Director who will support you and guide you towards gaining your ACCA/CIMA qualification. You will be given the opportunity develop your skills further and work towards ownership of the management accounts process.
