Overview

Grafton Banks are delighted to be solely representing an entertainments company in East Sussex in their search for a Finance and Change Manager. The group has recently been acquired by a Private Equity House, leading to new opportunities including this newly created role. The group has an annual turnover of c.£50m and as a place of work the culture is relaxed with staff empowered to make decisions, be creative and work on a flexible schedule. Purpose of the role The role is a hybrid role of projects and financial management, commencing as a senior project manager and developing into a role managing the finances of the firm's entities, providing in-depth analysis of finances to the senior management and private equity firm. Responsibilities Reporting to the CFO (based in the US), you will be given the pivotal role of mapping and assessing for a new finance system for the firm, assisting in the design and managing the implementation project. Create the project plan, governance and organisational structure Influence key project stakeholders, delivering clear and timely communications Ongoing system support to the finance team once the new system has been implemented. Working in a flat structure, you will hold responsibility for the financial management of numerous entities within the firm, providing monthly management information and consolidated reports in a multi-currency environment. Cashflow analysis, variances and working with a multi-year projection model to produce budgets, forecasts and worldwide projections. Ensuring covenant compliance for debt and managing treasury Interpreting the monthly reports and providing financial planning and analysis for several companies within the group. Acting as point of contact for auditors and tax queries Requirements Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Technical Systems Expert with eXperience of mapping, coding, writing, migrating within in a finance project management role Evidence of having assessed and implemented a Business Intelligence system In depth knowledge of Oracle ERP. Evidence of, and interest in, Financial Management of complex legal entities, subsidiaries and joint ventures in multi-currency environment Keen stakeholder management, coupled with the ability to partner with the CFO and MD to provide insightful analysis Self-starter with an ability to self-empower The successful candidate will be offered a very competitive salary, coupled with a benefits package including pension scheme.
