Management Accountant Manchester City Centre Upto £35,000 Benefits Bridgewater Finance Group are one of the UK’s most well established financial solutions providers. Established 14 years ago, we provide ethical and customer focused financial management plans. We are fully FCA licenced, and we are looking to add to our expanding team. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will assist the production of the group’s management accounts, including assisting with statutory accounts. They will also assist with commercial analysis and budget tracking working closely with various departments to ensure targets are met. Working with accuracy and to set deadlines the Management Accountant will be able to influence and add value across the group. Role and Responsibilities Production of monthly management accounts Oversee balance sheet recs Cash flow management Help oversee company cashiering operation Ensure accurate MI is provided to senior management Stat Accounts - Assist with the preparation of stat accounts Oversee and introduce improvements to the monthly management board pack Production and Analysis of monthly KPI’s Assist with VAT submissions, specifically around MTD Support and help aid development of team members Project work as required Other ad hoc duties as required Requirements The successful candidate would ideally be a qualified/part qualified accountant with commercial acumen and a good eye for detail. The candidate will require excellent communication skills and have the ability to liaise with both finance and non-finance individuals. The candidate must also be computer literate with good excel skills and solid understanding of accounting software principles. This role must evolve with the growing requirements of the business so the candidate must be continuously looking for ways to improve the current processes.
