The Ocean Partnership has been engaged to recruit an exciting opportunity to join an international capital markets business based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead across the critical regulatory rules and key business processes for the regulatory landscape in Europe. As the Consultant Regulatory Reporting Manager you will direct and engage in important regulatory reporting processes required for regulatory compliance in Europe. You will also lead new initiatives to ensure that new products and strategies are actively provisioned to ensure regulatory requirements. Key remits: Understanding the critical regulatory rules and key business processes for the regulatory environment in Europe. Directing, and engaging in, critical regulatory projects to implement new reporting processes, or to implement changes to regulatory rules. Managing and monitoring the critical regulatory reporting processes required for regulatory compliance in Europe. Engaging in new initiatives to ensure that new products and strategies include provisions to cover for any existing required regulatory processes, or processes to create in a sustainable way new regulatory reporting processes required for that product or strategy. Partnering with various departments to include front office capital markets, compliance, technology and regional management. Taking the lead in meetings with regulators and articulating the company’s regulatory processes. Career Experience: Extensive experience of people management and leadership, ideally of a regulatory reporting team. Excellent level knowledge of SFTR – Securities Financing Transaction Regulation. Excellent knowledge of risk related frameworks and risk management practices. Experience gained from either capital markets or investment, asset management.
