If you’re a big data developer looking for a new challenge, please apply today The Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced Big Data Developer, to help enhance and improve user interfaces. You will be responsible for creating, testing and maintaining big data applications using the Apache framework. This role will suit someone who has previously developed applications for big data platforms and has working knowledge of the latest big data tech. As a big data developer, you will also be responsible to create excellent design documentation to support the ongoing development of big data platforms. Graduates with specialist development qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply also. What’s needed for me to be considered? · Strong experience with Kafka, Streams and Scala essential · Apache Druid, Hadoop, SparkSQL and Java highly desirable · A degree (or HND) in Computer Science or IT · Certification in big data would be a huge plus · Experience with Ansible, Kubernetes, Machine Learning and C++ desirable · Skills in Prometheus, Git and Jira would be useful What next?
