Back end Developer – Brighton - up to £35K benefits Key skills: Node.Js, Python, Data Analytics, MySQL, Go, Perl. A leading UK Data Analytics company based in the heart of Brighton are looking to recruit a Backend developer with strong Node.js or Perl experience to work on the back-end of their applications currently being rewritten onto Node.js. You will be based in their lovely offices in the heart of Brighton and this role will be working alongside a number of highly talented Developers on their core platform team. This company are now looking for a Developer with a strong passion for coding performant backend applications to help us grow and maintain the product API’s and internal back office systems that drive their Data Analytics platform. This platform is core to the internet services of many of the largest companies across the globe. As a Backend Developer, you will be part of the core experienced back-end engineering team, working on a large scale re-development project, so this is an opportunity to influence the platform and the business in a highly visible role. It would be useful to have some of the following skills: •Prior experience with a scripting language (JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Go, Perl). •Solid understanding of Node.js. •Database experience preferably MySQL. •Experience with Ubuntu, Vagrant and AWS would be a plus.
