Client Outsourcing Senior Manager / Client Finance Senior Manager McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a Top30 Accounting Firm who are looking for an experienced ACA/ACCA Qualified Financial Outsourcing Senior Manager (Asst Director) for their Client Services team near Cheltenham. Managing your own portfolio of clients along with supervising a team of 10 juniors, key deliverables for the position include: Managing a client portfolio as well as building and maintaining good working relationships with Directors/Partners and clients. Responsible for a mixed portfolio of Corporate (Non audit) and Non-Corporate clients Reviewing year-end processes and statutory financial statements under UK GAAP & IFRS, as well as annual accounts for partnerships Managing Qualified & PQ staff on client work to ensure it is completed to satisfy objectives Building and maintaining good relationships with clients, becoming the first point of contact for most issues that arise Ensuring all work allocated is carried out profitably and on a timely basis in accordance with the firm's standards Participating in business development and contributing to sales negotiations, including meeting new & existing clients Reviewing all financial results with clients, relaying how changes to the business could affect the firm from a regulatory perspective Assisting clients on the set up and development of internal systems and controls, including implementing suitable accounting software Managing budgets for client work, reviewing charge out rates, budgets and calculation of recovery rates Having a full awareness of the services offered by other departments in the firm and continually look for cross selling opportunities To be considered for role you should be a qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant, ideally with experience in a similar outsourced accounting or general practice environment within a Top100 or well-known Regional Accountancy Firm. With strong management accounts, statutory and annual accounts experience and knowledge in VAT, forecasting & budgeting; line management and mentoring junior staff is also required for this role. On offer is a salary up to £60/65,000 depending on qualification and experience with benefits to include company pension, healthcare and holidays.
