Senior Accountant (route to equity partner) Huddersfield £35,000 - £45,000 Impressive and ambitious firm of accountants have an opportunity for a recently qualified (ACCA /ACA) Senior Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a career-focused finance professional looking to join a friendly but highly ambitious firm. You will have real chance to make a difference and there is an clear route to partner level for the right individual. The firm are experiencing significant growth and are forecasting further 'hockey-stick’ growth. They are investing sensibly and readily to ensure they remain ahead of the curve in order to ensure future success. Extremely modern thinking and aspirational business with a superb reputation and platform for further expansion. You will need a proven track record in a practice environment (independent regional firm or top tier). You will also need to have completed (or be close to completion) ACCA or ACA. This is a professional but down to earth and collaborative team. You will be someone who enjoys plenty of interaction with clients (typically business owners). You will have a measured approach to problem solving and be someone who adopts a partnership approach when working with clients / business leaders. The firm provide core accounting, tax, audit and complex advisory services and have an extremely varied and interesting existing portfolio of clients. You will ideally have a background in either accounts preparation or audit and be comfortable mentoring / coaching more junior members of staff.
