Overview
A Sales Administrator job based in Evesham, paying between £18,000 and £20,000 per annum DOE. Your new company Your new company are a well-established FMCG supplier, working with manufacturing, retail and wholesale organisations. They invest time and effort into ensuring the quality of the products they supply are of the highest standard, and pride themselves on their exceptional levels of customer service. Due to the company growing in size, they seek a Sales Administrator to join their team. Your new role Your new role as Sales Administrator will see you processing incoming and outgoing business in the form of sales and purchase orders, checking these against contracts to ensure correct quotations are placed. You will log and acknowledge all orders received over the phone, via email or by fax. You will be responsible for liaising with suppliers to meet the clients' expectations, being able to advise upon stock levels and ensure correct delivery dates are met. Customer service is also a large part of the role as you will answer incoming calls into the office, and re-direct these to other departments when necessary. Other general ad-hoc support across the office from time to time in order to meet deadlines will also be required. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role you will have experience working in a similar position within a high-volume, busy sales office, processing sales orders, quotations and invoices. You will have a background in liaising with customers, suppliers and clients with regards to order discrepancies, delivery dates and logistics/shipping orders. You will also be a confident user of IT and will have experience working with Microsoft Office in the bulk of your main daily duties, and previous experience in using SAGE will also be an advantage. Great attention to detail and customer service skills that you will utilise in this growing company are hugely important, as well as a confident attitude to work.
