PRINCIPAL ANALYST- SAS PRINCIPAL ANALYST/ SAS ANALYST/ COMMERCIAL BANKING/ FINANCIAL CRIME/ REMEDIATION/ VBA/ FINANCIAL SERVICES 6 Months Contract- Extensions Likely £300-350 Per Day-PAYE London A Principal Analyst is required by our Global Financial Services client based in London on an initial 6 month basis. The role is to support testing-related projects as well as identifying customers who have been impacted by banking errors or product issues, calculating refund due and supporting the fulfilment of redress activity. It entails putting thing right for the customers by providing accurate analytics using large data sets, presenting to stakeholders at different levels of the organisation and partnering with the business to ensure a sound way forward. You will be using your collaboration skills and knowledge of the Financial Services industry and commercial banking product to work across number of complex remediation programs that span across multiple products. Key Responsibilities: · Manage range of high value and sensitive remediation projects from inception to delivery · Development and maintenance of highly complex analysis to extract business information · Developing, maintaining and keeping robust high quality documentation so as to drive team effectiveness and ensure ability to respond to audits. · Checking the appropriateness of all analysis requests to ensure business units are making the best possible decision based on known information. · Key business contact to specific projects and subject matter expert · Presenting analytical findings and recommendations to colleagues at different level of the organisation · Taking the lead in developing, maintaining and improving high quality validated strategies, while leading projects. · Support the Head of Redress by helping shape the analytics pipeline for own business area, contributing own ideas and deputising where appropriate. Provide mentoring to other analysts · Develop business awareness to support projects across multiple products Key Experience: · Strong analytical reasoning · 3 years SAS experience required. Also Preferable to have experience in VBA or other presentation tools · Highly developed analytical skills to extract information from data and translate to business language & financial impacts. · Ability to manage both own & team time effectively to ensure delivery of multiple projects · 3 years SAS experience required.
