Overview
An interim Windows 10 Deployment Engineer to support and oversee a Windows 7 -> Windows 10 migration remotely. £150 - £160 VAT per day 6-month Contract - (Out of scope of IR35) Reading, Berkshire UK Your new company We are a global pharmaceutical services organisation providing cutting edge software solutions to the world of healthcare. Right now we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly literate Windows migration professional to join a well-established team. You will report directly into the IT Project Manager and oversee and support our migration of Windows 7 to Windows 10 across more than 30 sites located globally. (supporting the migration through remote access). Your new role You will have to support the migration of Windows 7 to Windows 10 for this global based project. You will ensure all project related work is captured in the ITSM system or other repositories as requested by the management team whilst investigating and resolving user issues that may occur during the Windows upgrades. In addition, you will need to provide support and guidance to remote end- users whilst using Office 365, Windows and OneDrive products. What you'll need to succeed You will have experience of at least one Windows 7 to Windows 10 migration project, supporting and overseeing the full migration process, supporting over 500 users. Alignment with testing and an approach of continually improving the system and users will help you greatly in your role as you undertake the project. Your technical expertise will cover Windows 7 and 10 support, system testing and user documentation.
