Overview
Functional Tester 3 months Titchfield (currently could be Newport based) Inside/Outside IR35 - to be confirmed DBS - SC be a plus Automated testing - experience of building and maintaining an automated test framework Experience using Selenium Webdriver for testing web-based applications working with AWS/Azure or Google Cloud platform Designing and writing feature files using Cucumber/Gherkin Mentoring/training other team members in test automation Evidence of delivering to a tight deadline Essential Experience: Job Title Functional Tester The roles are for functional testers with automated test analyst experience to work with the Product Assurance Team which is part of Product Development in Systems and Service Delivery. The focus of the roles is as technical testers providing automated testing and operating support as well as driving forward technical innovation in the test team. The roles involve working on a product developed using PostgreSQL and PHP using the Selenium test tool. Person Specification Experience of the following required: developing test strategies and defining test approaches to automated testing of applications written in a range of technologies (including PostgreSQL and PHP); building and maintaining automated test suites and testing frameworks (using Selenium) undertaking technical liaison with stakeholders and subject matter experts promoting continuous improvement in automated testing activities acting as subject matter experts for technical testing processes and innovations providing assistance, guidance and mentoring to other testers regarding test automation.
