Year 2 Teacher Vacancy September 2020 start MPS1-MPS6 Based in Islington Permanent, full-time Year 2 Teacher role Year 2 Teacher Specification The right candidate for this Year 2 Teacher role will bring a wealth of experience to a team of KS1 Teachers with a range of experience. The school are looking for a Year 2 Teacher who is very open with all aspects of their role and is happy to support the wider KS1 team. Ideally, the school will find a candidate who has been a Year 2 Teacher for at least 2 years, however, it is more important that the school hire a Year 2 Teacher who aligns to their philosophy. The perfect Year 2 Teacher will always bring a positive spirit and be excited to face the challenges of day to day school life. About the Year 2 Teacher Role In this Year 2 Teacher role, you will be working closely with all members of the KS1 team to maximise staff potential and encourage excellent teaching practice. You will be working with a class of 28 year 2 students who have been making great progress and are always keen to learn. As a Year 2 Teacher, you will have the support of a graduate TA who is eager to gain experience within a school before embarking on a PGCE course. The School Located in Barnet, the quickest way to get to the school is by driving. However, there are also good bus links which are more regular during busier hours. The school achieved an ‘Outstanding’ grade in its most recent Ofsted. This is an achievement which the whole school community are extremely proud of and a status they are working hard to maintain.
