Science Teacher - Required for September 2020 Smile Education are working in partnership with a large Secondary School in Corby, Northamptonshire who are looking to find a KS3 and KS4 Science Teacher to join their team in September on a permanent or temporary to permanent basis. The role - Plan and teach in an integrated approach across KS3 and KS4 Science - Support the learning and development of students across all years - To ensure up-to-date assessment information is held on individual students - To support the development and improvement in the links between home and school - Communicate with parents when required and appropriate to discuss the progress of individual students. - Attend all relevant and appropriate meetings The ideal candidate must have: - Qualified Teacher Status or substantial experience within a similar role - Evidence of continuing professional development - Experience in a secondary school setting - Assessment, recording and reporting of students’ achievements and assessment for learning. - Evidence of successful teaching across a wide ability range - Ability to use assessment to raise standards of achievement My client is looking for someone who is a confident and passionate Science Teacher to join their supportive team. This role is permanent and to start in September. However, an earlier start date can be negotiated. The salary will be based against the main pay scale (24,373 – 40,490).
