Overview
TLTP are currently working with a Secondary school in Brentwood that are recruiting for a Science Teacher to join them in a permanent role starting in September. As the new Science Teacher, your duties will include but will not be limited to the following; You will need to have an in-depth knowledge of the UK national curriculum and be comfortable at delivering lessons to key stages 3 through 5. As the new Science Teacher, you will be communicating regularly with parents and carers on their child’s progress within your classes. You must record all student’s progress throughout the academic year. You will also be required to use a variety of teaching resources to help you provide the best lessons possible. You will be required to go through appropriate training in line with school and departmental priorities. The successful Science Teacher will have the following Qualifications/Experience; You must have a Science-related degree with the relevant teaching qualification e.g. PGCE or Qualified Teacher Status. You will need to have strong behavioural management skills of students. You must have a clear understanding of the UK national curriculum. You will need a recent Enhanced DBS check and be registered to the online Update Service.
