Overview
Geography Teacher position - East London September 2020 Start TLTP are currently working with a 'Good' Secondary school based in East London that are recruiting for a Geography Teacher to join them on a permanent basis, from September 2020. The successful candidate will be joining a medium sized single sex Secondary school and mixed Sixth Form with modern facilities and a well-equipped Humanities department with outstanding leadership in place, helping you perform to the best of your ability. As the new Teacher of Geography your duties will include but will not be limited to the following: As the new Geography Teacher you will be tasked with planning, delivering and marking work for key stage 3, key stage 4 and key stage 5 students within your classes You will also be tasked with teaching the school curriculum for Geography as the new Teacher of Geography You will be required to communicate on a regular basis with parents and carers on their child's progress within your class You will be working with all other teachers within the Geography department and supporting them as and when required, including helping mentor NQT's and PGCE students You will be required to use a wide variety of learning resources to help improve your lessons and teaching To be considered for this role you must have the following; You must have a Geography related degree with a relevant teaching qualification ie.
