ABOUT US: Pebbles Care Ltd is a provider of Residential Child Care and Education for children and young people aged eight to eighteen years. With over fifteen of experience we support some of the most vulnerable children and young people from across the United Kingdom. We are looking to recruit a passionate and child-centred Registered Manager to lead one of our 'Outstanding’ graded homes in Cumbria. The role allows you to be involved in the lives of children and young people as you lead and role model best practice across the team, encouraging a 'leadership at all levels’ approach within your home. Our children and young people often have experienced trauma and early years attachment difficulties. We need you to promote a trauma-informed environment where staff can offer understanding, through meaningful relationships aimed at keeping those we care for safe and able to enjoy the world around them. We need people to listen to them and to take in to account their views, wishes and feelings. The role can be challenging and requires 'stickability’ in leading a team, especially when behaviours reflect the pain young people feel but can’t always make sense of.
