Overview
Really excited to be working with an up and coming PE backed client. Add a little gold dust to your CV with this expanding organisation. They require a management accountant who will report directly into the FC. Duties include: Production of weekly and monthly profit and loss accounts and balance sheets across the group. Undertake variance analysis and provide supplementary explanations and information for stakeholders as required. Ensure all costs are accurately attributed to the correct individual revenue streams Liaising with the Financial Controller to ensure all departmental reporting outputs are produced in a timely manner and accurately reflect company performance Ensuring all deadlines are met, required levels of accuracy delivered and all issues managed within agreed company policies and procedures. Support budgeting and forecasting processes through a two-way information exchange that enables budget fund holders to supply accurate and meaningful data. Support the external audit process with relevant explanations and documentation Cash allocation - oversee all cash-related transactions/allocations e. debtor/creditor cash allocations, bank reconciliation, petty cash control. Identify improvement opportunities within departmental processes and propose changes as applicable Ensure that all service standards are delivered in such a way that agreed standards, targets and quality are delivered. Act as first point of contact for team queries and aid in the training, development and motivation of team members to ensure departmental standards are maintained. This needs to be delivered in a positive, supportive and motivational manner Proactively manage your own personal development in order to increase personal performance levels and career development opportunities Positively manage ad hoc reporting to support operational activity Supervise the preparation of weekly payrolls This role will suit a part qualified candidate who is in the latter stages of studying or newly qualified.
