Setting out Engineer Permanent North West - Civils Up to £39'000 per annum DOE As an established civil engineering contractor within the North West, my client are expanding their current teams due to unprecedented growth and are looking for experienced setting out engineers to join them. Projects include highways, road construction, water, utilities, groundworks and heavy civils projects. As the successful candidate you will be able to assist in the management of civil engineering projects/contracts, ensuring delivery and achievement of outcomes, in accordance with the requirements, standards and targets set in project agreements. Projects will include water, highways, road construction, groundworks and heavy civils. As a setting out engineer, you will be responsible in making sure all works are set-out in accordance with contract drawings, setting out equipment, is checked, calibrated and maintained as necessary and supervision of works to ensure they are carried out to the correct dimensions. Qualifications: HNC or equivalent in Civils discipline Four-day first aid accreditation SMSTS CSCS supervisory accreditation Knowledge: Good working knowledge of the Construction industry Fully conversant with all aspects of setting-out and various instruments Sound understanding of the CDM Regulations A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, internet and e-mail A good understanding of safe working practices / basic H&S requirements An understanding of all relevant trade disciplines Anderselite Ltd operates as both an Employment Agency and Employment Business.
