Overview

Our client is a long-standing and successful company operating providing bespoke IT solutions to a wide variety of clients. They are looking for a part time Accounts Coordinator to work closely with the Operations Director. They're flexible on hours worked going up to a maximum of 30 hours per week. Job Description: As Accounts Coordinator your role will be varied, challenging and very busy. You will have an excellent background in accounts work with strong administration skills. Reporting to the Operations Director, the key duties and responsibilities include: Raising purchase orders Posting purchase invoices onto Sage Collation of supplier invoices Checking invoices against orders placed Petty cash Credit control Producing quotations Releasing and dispatching sales orders Raising sales invoices Sending statements Banking Updating Excel spreadsheets Taking telephone calls and answering general queries Dealing with incoming and outgoing post You will also be required to help out the sales team with administration from time to time during busy periods which will include: Liaising with customers Managing diaries of the Account Managers Sending out marketing material where necessary Acting as customer service point of contact Taking messages on behalf of the Account Managers Following up on client queries Arranging Service Days Booking hotels For the Accounts Coordinator role, it would be good to see candidates with: Previous experience within an accounts role Ideally an accounts qualification such as AAT, although QBE will also be considered The ability to hit the ground running Able to work in a small team Experience with Sage 50 and Microsoft Excel A 'can do' approach with the ability to work to deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with colleagues and customers The role will also suit the following experience: Accounts Supervisor, Accounts Manager, Finance Manager, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Clerk, Bookkeeper, AAT.
