1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer - Bristol - Up to £27,000 Benefits A cutting-edge tech business are currently seeking a driven 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer to be part of their in-house IT team located in Bristol. The Role The role is a service desk support position, with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service. You'll be responsible for 1st and 2nd line support duties and will also be a point of contact for all IT support across the business's UK-wide IT infrastructure. Working within a fast-paced and high-volume environment, your duties as the 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer will include, but won't be limited to: Providing technical hardware and application support Managing ticket escalations Documenting calls on the internal call logging system Creating and maintaining process documentation Maintaining user security across all systems Managing desktop refresh projects Providing line management duties when required Coaching and mentoring more junior team members, including service desk engineers About You As the 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer, it is essential that you have excellent customer facing skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues in non-technical terms. You will have a proactive way of working, always seeking ways to gain new information and learn new technologies, sharing this information with fellow colleagues.
