Overview
Digital Product Owner - Leadership Role [progression opportunity to Chief Product Owner] Excellent customer-facing, interpersonal and presentation skills required for this digital disruptor embarking on a Greenfield digital transformation. If you are interested in a well-funded, start-up culture you could be the ideal candidate to really move their Greenfield roadmap forward at pace. They are looking for top talent to join their newly formed Digital Technology team, based in their Barnet HQ. The position is open to an A-team player who wants to drive and excel at the forefront of Data, Digital and Technology This is a key element of their digital transformation and thus represents a great opportunity to get in at the early stages / be pivotal to their future success. Extensive experience as Product Owner in an Agile cloud-based environment (ideally AWS and / or GCP) preferably within eCommerce, Social / Digital web & apps, well-known Digital Disrupters (e.g. Deliveroo, Uber, Eventbrite etc.) Experience of multi-channel / omni-channel strategy and business case generation Thorough understanding of Scrum practices (Scrum certifications desirable) Own product backlog and implementation with attention to Time, Cost & Quality Defining iterations, stories, major and minor releases and iteration goals and content via story prioritisation Working with analysts, developers and the customer translating solutions to products Experience of articulating the value and impact of project roadmap Research & Development of new Digital products Identify blockages and impediments Commercially aware of the impact of new solutions Being a focal point of contact for the business for the defined product/portfolio of products Defining and managing major and minor releases; upstream-downstream dependencies Defining product non-functional requirements Channel distribution/release strategy and KPIs Continuously monitor customer needs, market trends, competitor activity and regulatory changes to ensure the product remains a category leader Maintaining the end-to-end customer experience of the product Maintaining the capability roadmap, broken down into lifecycle phases which are then tracked against agreed KPIs from inception through to completion/decommission Managing product feature prioritisation; ensuring stakeholders understand the compromises and constraints Managing product user journey design, ensuring a high quality cross channel user experience Managing product launch, ensuring business readiness Expert understanding of eCommerce front ends and the interfaces with backend information systems A driven "finisher", quick learner, focused but adaptable, thrives in fast-moving, challenging environments, good comms., team player but can work independently, you will be able to demonstrate an up-to-date portfolio of work and show us your skill.
