Overview
On behalf of our Southport based client we are seeking to recruit an Engineering Technician to work within our clients modern manufacturing production facility. You must be able to demonstrate previous work experience working within the electrical or engineering sector (auto electrical/electrical engineering etc). You must have an ONC/HNC Electrical/Electronic Engineering qualification. You will be working on various tasks including; soldering, crimping and assembling of small component parts as part of the general factory production processes. You must have an excellent eye for detail and posses a high level of manual dexterity as the job involves the manufacture of critical safety equipment. You must have the ability to adapt and learn quickly as you will be required to perform and pass on-line testing as part of the initial learning/training programme. Full on-going training will be given to the successful applicant. This is an excellent career opportunity to work within a recognised market leading company. All positions are offered on a temp to perm basis with full time employment offered following the completion of a successful probationary period.
