Start Date: September 2020 Pay: MPS/UPS We are seeking to appoint a member of staff to join our new Engineering/Creative Technology Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is an enthusiastic, talented and passionate teacher of Technology and who is able to teach across all the disciplines within the department, especially willing to delivery Engineering BTEC to Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will have to be motivated and committed to working as part of a team, have strong, up-to-date subject knowledge and be confident that students in their care will make exceptional progress. The departmental vision for our students is: Linking creative skills and technology to the world of work Staying abreast of current developments in the engineering, digital technologies, product design and possibly KS3 textiles, ensuring this meets the needs of the students and the school Provide a pathway to success Enhancing the student as a person through confidence building and a ‘can do’ attitude This is an exciting opportunity as the building work for a new wing to house the Department starts March 2020. We have an ambitious vision for our school driven by our excellent team to ensure our students experience as much Outstanding and Good practice as possible.
