D&D London is a group of diverse restaurants, bars and hotels based principally in London, but also with venues in Paris and New York. It was founded by Des Gunewardena and David Loewi (the eponymous D and D) in 2006, following a buyout of Conran Restaurants. Since then the company has become a vital player in London’s famous restaurant scene, owning some of the capital’s most celebrated restaurants, including Quaglino’s, Le Pont de la Tour, Bluebird and Coq d’Argent. Set to open this Spring , our new opening in Cabot Circus, Bristol will be D&D London’s first in the South West of England. Our restaurant venue will be located within the listed 18th century Friary Building and will incorporate a landmark restaurant, bars, extensive private dining and a large outdoor terrace. We are very excited about opening our first venue in Bristol and will announce the food concept and name of the restaurant shortly. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Senior Sous Chef looking to join one of D&D London’s portfolio of fabulous restaurants. You will be responsible for all aspects of Health & Safety and food hygiene, managing GP, P&L and all other forecasting and stock management. Knowledge of FNB and Fourth Hospitality is desirable, but full training will be given. We are looking for a Senior Sous Chef who can support the Head Chef and lead the team - being on the front line and leading the pass is a must.
