Overview

A leading Children's Charity Description To devise and implement media and PR plans and tactics for the charity's national and regional activity, as directed by the Head of Media and PR, in keeping with organisational and team objectives. To lead on, and develop, the media work around key organisational priorities. Identify and act on opportunities to grow the media profile of the organisation. To work to streamlined communications processes with the charity staff, including managers, to ensure high quality media activity. To help deliver the media and PR output, including devising supporting materials and both leading and assisting coverage on different media. To support the media team by carrying out some administrative duties To collaborate across multiple teams, in complex projects, under matrix-style management and working. To work with the Head of Media and PR and the digital team to help contribute to the charity's social media agenda To work with the Head of Media and PR to develop advice and plans and appropriate responses to potentially negative stories; to anticipate potential crises and to plan to minimise risk To work with children and young people to enable them to have a voice and influence in our work. Profile Previous experience in a media team Understanding of reputational management Experience in developing and maintaining good relationships with the Media Experience of working across multiple teams and divisions Experience of initiation and planning media launches Media planning Good writing and editing skills NFP experience Job Offer 9 months Media opportunity Central London offices Flexible working with great culture
