Overview

Cottons Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers are recruiting for a senior accountancy professional to join our growing firm of chartered accountants, based in our Northampton office, providing accountancy and tax compliance and advisory service. The practice has a substantial and growing client base of sole traders, partnerships, OMB Ltd companies and larger businesses, directors and HNWI’s. The practice has 4 offices and 9 Partners with over 80 staff, with imminent further growth. In terms of our package, we offer flexible working, an annual bonus, incentive schemes, regular pay reviews, career tracking and mapping to ensure progression, regular internal and external training, on-site parking, regular social events in addition to holiday and pension contributions. Description You will play a key role in providing a quality service to a varied portfolio of clients. Working in a team of both experienced and training accountants. The role will include: Accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole traders, Partnerships and Charities Monthly and quarterly management accounts Completion of both personal tax returns Overseeing workflow and planning work Assisting with training and development of junior members of staff Profile: You will be ACA/ACCA qualified or QBE, with a background in accountancy practice and good technical knowledge.
