Overview
Purpose of the Post Dolphin Homes Ltd are looking for a Senior Support Worker ( Days ) who has a genuine desire to work with adults with learning disabilities at Camberley Cottage, our service in Camberley, Surrey. We provide support for people with a variety of diverse support needs including learning disabilities, physical disabilities and Autism. The Role & Responsibilities The Senior Support Worker needs to lead and be responsible for Support Workers and assist the management team in being responsible for the efficient and effective operation of one of the group’s homes for individuals with learning disabilities. Skills & Experience Requirements You will have to demonstrate that you have the appropriate skills and knowledge of the Health & Social Care Act and abide by the GSCC Code of Conduct. Either hold an NVQ3 or, be working towards the same. To assist in the creation of an environment where, through the use of "PCP" Person Centred Planning, individuals are supported in recognising their life potential. To provide opportunities for engagement in occupational, vocational and recreational activities and to encourage both individuality and informed choice regarding all such activities. To enable individuals to develop strategies to support their individual needs.
