Success Recruit are currently working with a forward-thinking company based in Central Essex who are seeking to recruit an experienced Accounting professional to join their growing team of Accountancy Tutors. Our client is looking for a fully qualified accountant, who is looking for an opportunity to change direction within their career and use their extensive accounting knowledge to train as a Tutor. The Accountancy Tutor will be expected to teach a variety of students across ACCA, AAT, CIMA and ICAEW qualifications. The successful Accountancy Tutor will be expected to: Have strong English skills both written and verbal Be able to inspire, influence and motivate Have excellent organisational and time management skills Be an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills The successful Accountancy Tutor will be rewarded with: Working for a well-established and growing company with centres around the UK Being a part of a friendly and close-knit team An opportunity to see the development and progression of students at all stage Purpose of the Role The Accountancy Tutor will be expected to deliver classroom-based lectures, following the course programmes and preparing for lectures. This role will develop and change scope over time, allowing the successful candidate to evolve and take on more responsibility to fit the skill set of the individual and business needs. Duties to include but not limited to: Deliver face to face classroom training to groups of students and apprentices (up to class sizes of 30) Write and produce reports on student progress Liaise closely with internal departments, working with Skills Coaches on the development and performance of apprentices Providing support to all student & apprentice queries outside of the classroom e.g. through marketing of questions and providing guidance on study techniques Managing a teaching timetable, planning ahead for future classes and lectures Building a strong rapport with all students, providing a safe and supportive classroom environment This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the development and progression of others and is keen to transfer their accounting knowledge into a new and diverse opportunity.
