NURSE RGN - Roborough House - £17.00 day £18.00 NIght ph About the Role We are recruiting for Registered Nurses RGN to join our service in Woolwell, Plymouth. With a service of 40 service users and a staff team of over 60 to support users with physical disabilities, the successful candidate will be/RGN qualified, have a sound knowledge of social role valorisation, good clinical and care planning skills and be flexible to meet the individual needs of the service users. We are providing individuals with practical and emotional care, enabling them to lead as ordinary life as they can achieve. You will need to be flexible as you are required to work shifts including bank holidays, weekends and potentially sleep ins. If your best traits are positivity, friendliness and innovation then this job is for you Main Duties and Responsibilities Ensure all interventions are documented clearly and comprehensively Ensure that the Recovery Star and/or any other models as identified is completed on admission and throughout the recovery process Communicate with other members of the multi d team to effectively utilise resources to help meet identified resident’s needs Ensure the correct administering & documentation of medicines in accordance with the organisation policy, legal requirements and NMC standards for medicines management Collaborate with other members of the Multi-Disciplinary team in ensuring a safe environment is maintained for residents, visitors and staff Ensure high levels of hygiene and infection control systems are maintained Ensure your own actions reduce risks to health & safety Maintain resident, staff, service and organisation confidentiality at all times To report any hazards and defects, with the building or equipment, to deputy, hospital registered manager, or the maintenance lead The Successful Candidate for the role will have Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and/or mental health issues.
