Assistant Maintenance Engineering Manager Telford Permanent Competitive salary Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week Do you want to work for a well-established manufacturer leading their sector? We are working with a stable global manufacturing company based in Telford. They are looking at recruiting an Assistant Maintenance Engineering Manager to strengthen their maintenance and site services team. Working alongside the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development of the Maintenance Engineering systems, as well as planning of the maintenance of equipment. Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to: Enhance, maintain and improve the development of the maintenance engineers and systems Maintain and improve all aspects of facilities and site services Responsibility for the maintenance of all plant machinery Design and implement systems that integrate the department within the company Develop and lead the maintenance engineering department Implement new technology in line with company direction Manage and deliver engineering projects Skills and Experience For this role you will have relevant professional management qualification and previous experience in managing site services and maintenance engineering in high volume manufacturing environment. You will have knowledge of fault finding for PLC programming and pneumatics, as well as working knowledge of manufacturing processes. Because of offsite work that may be required, you must have a driving license and a passport.
