Overview

Data Architect required for leading client based in London. As Principal Data Architect, you will consult with information technology, data analytics, product creation, and development staff to assure the architecture is aligned with and capable of supporting the business strategies. Key responsibilities Provide architecture and solution governance, covering Conceptual and logical models Operational and reporting solutions Enterprise wide integrative views of data and metadata Master Data Management SQL and NoSQL RDBMS Technologies Star Schema and Big Data / MapReduce Architectures Data Visualisation Machine Learning Data Migration Define technical standards and guidelines to encourage reuse of existing data stores, as well as address issues of security, timeliness, and quality Provide consultancy services: discovery, business development/bids, reviews, feasibility, product selections and other architectural engagements Lead the work to translate requirements into a solution architecture that align with client strategies, principles, standards and best practice, that covers all relevant architectural domains Document and clearly communicates architectures using multiple models or views - and appropriately for stakeholders at all levels Key skills Strong architecture background Experience in the development of Enterprise, Solution and Data architectures Experience with Data Governance Knowledge and experience of Talend Experience of using Sparx In-depth understanding of database structure principles Broad understanding of a range of current and emerging technologies Clear written and verbal communication skills If you would like to find out more, please send your details to Aimee Cornock at Jumar Solutions This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89919425
