PeopleSoft System Administrator/ Oracle DBA working with a leading University in Manchester City Centre. Systems Administrator - Oracle PeopleSoft DBA | Manchester | £40-50k Your new company A leading university in Manchester City Centre is looking for an Oracle DBA to join their growing IT team. The company is committed to developing and maintaining highly usable, fast, flexible and personalised Information Systems services that reflect the changing needs of the university . You will be joining a fast past and vibrant IT Department that focuses on delivering excellent customer service and innovation. Your new role As an Oracle DBA / Systems Administrator you will be working within the Database Services team providing specialist PeopleSoft support to the university's Solution Systems, including Weblogic and Tuxedo Middleware. Building, configuring and supporting PeopleSoft campus Solutions. There will also be an element of supporting oracle databases including those that provide services to the university's PeopleSoft environments and smaller Standalone databases. What you'll need to succeed Several years' experience in both technical and people / performance team leadership Experience of Oracle PeopleSoft at PeopleTools 8.55 or later Previous work experience and either a degree/professional qualifications in a similar role Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with complex problems and provide creative solutions What you'll get in return You can expect a salary in the region of £40,000 to £50,000 (depending on experience), plus a generous pension and 25 days holiday plus Christmas closure and bank holidays.
