Overview
3 Dimensions Care supports vulnerable and complex children who have challenging behaviour, social, emotional and learning difficulties. We have Homes situated close to Chard and near Axminster. It is a challenging but rewarding job that requires an understanding of the difficulties and trauma our children have encountered. We give the children in our care the opportunity to make a better life for themselves through our practice of therapeutic parenting and PACE techniques. We offer our staff working in the residential children’s home A range of flexible shift patterns depending on current need Full salary for annual leave Use of company car for work activities All meals on shift Comprehensive Induction and Specialist training Initial DBS paid for Level 3 Diplomas and career development You need to be physically fit and willing to undertake various activities such as bike riding, swimming and walking as well as have an open, compassionate and enquiring disposition. Our children are always out and about so you must have a full driving licence and for legal reasons must be aged 21 or over. You also need to have or to work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or an equivalent. The salary depends on experience and age £22,600 - £24,756 per annum for sleep in positions (10 shifts, 9 sleeps at 163.5 hrs per month) £15,750- £16,363.50 per annum for non sleep in positions (Average 35hrs a week - 150 hrs a calendar month, occasional sleep ins may be available as overtime) 3 Dimensions Care is committed to safeguarding all children placed with us and therefore we are required to apply for your fully enhanced DBS check and several references will be sought Go to our website to download an application form, job description and person specification.
