Overview
Manager opportunity within Corporate Finance / M&A at a reputable and established Mid-Market Accountancy & Advisory Practice, offering responsibility for managing a wide range of projects and transactions. THE COMPANY A reputable Chartered Accountancy Practice with an established Corporate Finance Advisory offering at small and mid-market level (£1m - £10m deal values). The firm is renowned as a full-service Practice advising SME's, large privately-owned businesses and corporate groups up to c.£100m t/o. THE OPPORTUNITY As a Manager you will support a Partner with development of the strategy for the department and be responsible for leading a range of Corporate Finance and M&A transactions. As the Corporate Finance / M&A offering expands you will also be involved in the mentoring and development of staff within the team and can expect longer term career progression. As a Manager your responsibilities will include: Managing M&A, MBO / MBI, Capital Fundraising and Due Diligence projects involving SME, Owner-Managed and Mid-Market Corporate businesses Managing a range of deliverables including target research, IM, forecasts, financial models and pitch documents Reviewing legal documents and handling Lead Advisory work during negotiations with buyers, vendors and investors You will be rewarded with a competitive salary package, excellent exposure to all aspects of transaction management and the opportunity to progress to Assistant Director. THE PERSON You will be an M&A / Corporate Finance professional able to demonstrate the following: ACA / ACCA Qualified and a background within Mid-Tier or large independent Chartered Practice Previous Corporate Finance / Lead Advisory experience at small or mid-market deal level (c.2-3 years ideally) A desire to gain 'hands-on' experience of a wide variety of transaction work as you progress your career to AD Please contact Alastair McLean at Lucas McLean Recruitment to discuss this opportunity.
