Overview
Account Handler required to join the commercial new business team of a very successful independent specialist insurance broker due to growth. You will follow up new leads, and grow your account by contacting clients on the phone, dealing with new business quotations, along with building and maintaining your own client base. It is essential for this role that you can demonstrate strong people skills, and be able to negotiate effectively. Previous knowledge of the general insurance broking market either personal lines or commercial lines would be an advantage. Experience in Commercial Vehicle or Motor Fleet insurance would be of particular interest. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate a confident, pro-active nature, and be able to secure new business sales.
