Trainee CAD Projects Technician Eye, Suffolk Salary disclosed on application Pension Benefits Trainee CAD Technician sought within a busy and established design and development department of a specialised engineering solutions provider offering structured training, development and career progression opportunities. The role will be suitable for junior CAD technicians/project coordinators looking for a company to invest in technical skills and personal career development. You will have familiarity with AutoCAD/Inventor or similar and Strong Microsoft office suite and general IT literacy. The role requires someone with high levels of organisational and communication skills with the ability to function in a high paced project focused capacity. You will be involved in assisting in all aspects of product development and delivery from CAD drawings/manufacturing designs, BOM's, supplier and customer liaison and ensuring adherence to company policies throughout. Any exposure to structural engineering environments will be highly advantageous. The company have been trading for many decades and serve a global client base. The role is based from their Suffolk based main offices and they have other smaller UK offices linked to projects. The successful candidate will benefit from the many years of combined knowledge within this experienced team and will enjoy long term stable and progressive employment. The role in Brief: (Full company and role brief supplied on application.) To assist in the design and parts of bespoke engineered solutions in a project's capacity. Use of AutoDesk CAD software Work in support of the Senior CAD Technician Regular written and verbal communication with internal teams and international customers and suppliers. The Person Required: Junior CAD technician, projects coordinator from a mechanical/structural engineering background. Have familiarity with AutoDesk AutoCAD/Inventor Strong organisational and communication skills
