Overview

Web Developer required by market leading, eCommerce organisation based in Bath. The successful Web Developer will join a development team who develop, implement and maintain our client's eCommerce sites for all of Europe. Our client is offering an exciting opportunity to work with a highly skilled, small friendly team to continue to grow the success of the business. Key Responsibilities: Developing eCommerce solutions using PHP, PostgreSQL, HTML5, CSS3 Adhere to best development practices as laid out by the company Assist in reviewing and maintaining high-quality code output Carry out development with usability, scalability and future maintenance in mind Learn on the job, always adding to your skills Share skills and knowledge with peers Maintain the highest levels of online security Essential Skills: PHP 7 OOP development (minimum 2 years commercial experience) HTML and CSS JavaScript (React/ES6) MVC Frameworks / Slim v3 Git or other source control MySQL / PostgreSQL Doctrine ORM Unit Testing Nice To Have: Sass: Syntactically Awesome Style Sheets Redux Docker Knowledge of restful APIs This fantastic role comes with a salary of £30,000-35,000 p/a and is accompanied with a great benefits package which includes a Company Pension Scheme, Free Life Assurance, Medicash Health Cash Plan, a 37.5 hour week, 25 Days Holiday ( 8 Bank Holidays) and a generous Staff Discount to name but a few.
