Commercial Paralegal - Stamford

My client is looking for a Commercial Paralegal to join their thriving business and work closely with the Chief Executive but also the MD. You will help them to meet regulatory and compliance requirements, monitoring my clients complaince with all statutory obligations, such as GDPR, troubleshooting client issues and drafting and managing responses in relation to disputes and queries. Duties and Responsibilities Ability to assess a wide variety of work, including contract disputes, debt claims, property claims and negligence claims, investigationg and drafting responses where appropriate Monitor compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies, ensure that your findings are recorded and followed up with management so that issues can be rectified Investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues and report back to business functions on current risk and compliance performance Perform risk assessments to understand risk levels, significance and scope of issues quickly and efficiently Various general administrative duties (such as file creation and maintencance of ongoing administrative projects Collaborate with other departments to create a culture of compliance Experience/Qualifications Law Degree/CILEX part or full qualification or relevant experience in similar role You MUST have experience as a Commercial Paralegal and ideally would have previously assisted in or dealt with a full range of real estate matters such as acquisitions, disposals, commercial lease work, disputes and debt escalation processes Must be Customer focused Highly organised and have a keen eye for detail Commercially minded Excellent telephone manner and ability to converse with a diverse range of people A genuine love for compliance This is an excellent opportunity to further develop skills in a flourishing, positive environment.
