iManagement Information and Systems Officer (Children Services)

I am currently recruiting for an iManagement Information and Systems Officer to work with the Children's Services department of a London Local Authority. The postholder will make a major contribution in defining and developing data and systems to meet to the objectives of Children's Services. They will be required to provide comprehensive data and information for the development of the needs and business analysis for the service and will contribute to the Council's ability to use data to drive strategies, projects, identify priorities and evaluate progress. The successful applicant will have responsibility for the collection of accurate performance information to fulfil statutory obligations of the department to Central Government for information requirements and to demonstrate that the service is meeting nationally prescribed targets which secure ongoing funding and support the efficient use of resources. They will also define and determine performance improvement, with particular focus on raising achievement. Applicants must have previous experience of working in a data/performance analysis position within a Local Authority Children's Services team. Frameworki experience would be beneficial and applicants must have experience of conducting complex statistical analyses using Excel.
