Conveyor Belt Vulcaniser

My Lutterworth based client are looking for two fully skilled and experienced vulcaniser (or trainee's) to join them on a full time, permanent basis. Salary will depend on experience. The job involves working in a small team to attend sites to install or maintain conveyor belting systems in all weather. The position is based at our depot in Bruntingthorpe. Applicants with mechanical service contract or an engineering background is preferred but not essential. Key Responsibilities: To fit & vulcanise new/removes old conveyor belting To undertake repairs and maintenance on conveyor belting & conveyor structure To represent the company in a professional and helpful manner To undertake work activity on site both safely and efficiently Sills/Experience Required: Previous vulcanising experience in either PVC or Rubber conveyor belting is advantageous Experience gained within the engineering/mechanical environment is highly desirable Ability to communicate effectively with both customer and colleagues Accurate time keeping with positive, outgoing, self-motivated, hard working attitude Strong positive work ethic with high personal standard of finish Flexible approach to variety of work tasks undertaken Fit and in good health as role consist of manual lifting Out of hours call-outs are integral to the position.
