As an experience ECSW you will be responding to emergency, urgent and routine calls whilst working alongside a Paramedic, Technician or Associate Ambulance Practitioner to provide the very best care to the people of the South East. Secamb are currently working through how to return to practice staff who have left employment either through choice or retirement, and at this time also welcome other experienced clinicians to apply to support the TRUST via a bank agreement. As part of your role, you will provide ambulance aid and drive under emergency blue light conditions when required. To succeed in this role, you must have a genuine desire to serve the South East. Demonstrating excellent communication skills, utilising your initiative, common sense and your ability to remain calm under pressure whilst providing a patient focused approach with a caring and empathetic nature. Eligibility to apply: You must hold a full C1 (manual) category on your driving licence, please upload a copy of the front and back of the photocard. A full and current driving licence, held for at least one year, with no more than 3 penalty points. A Group 2 standard DVLA medical will also be required and there are restrictions for minimum uncorrected eye sight as part of this test, please refer to the DVLA for further guidance. Demonstrate a stable employment and attendance history. Caring disposition, demonstrating sensitivity to the needs of individuals. GCSE Maths and English, Grade C (4) or above (or equivalent). Able to work effectively under direction or as part of a team. Ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues and members of the public.
