Children's Support Worker

Make a difference to the lives of children with us Newcross Healthcare is seeking dedicated Children's Support Workers to care for our service users living in Truro, Cambourne, Redruth and the surrounding areas. As a Children's Support Worker, you will be caring for children across a variety of ages ranging from birth to 5. The tasks that you will be supporting with include supporting staff, helping with daily routines, planning activities, evaluating and monitoring the children and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Requirements of the role With a minimum of 3 months of experience behind you, you'll be confident in your abilities as a caregiver. With fantastic organisational and people skills, you'll flourish in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. To be eligible for the role, you must have a minimum of a level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare relevant to the early years sector. The right to work in the UK is a requirement, as is an in-date Moving and Handling certificate. Access to your own vehicle is beneficial but not required.
